Compositeur, arrangeur, membre de la SACEM et multi-instrumentiste de la région de Perpignan dans le sud de la France. Spécialiste de la musique newage et de la musique rock progressive.

2011 : Rencontre avec Zara Angel, une chanteuse belge à la voix d'ange. Nous avons ensemble enregistré "The mystic land of Reza", Zara a écrit les textes et j'ai composé la musique, les arrangements, etc...

Vous avez voulu certainement vous échapper de la réalité, vivre une autre vie, rêver, dans un nouveau monde...plaisir, sensualité, parfois tristesse se cachent dans cet album.

« Seasons » décrit en musique et même en vidéo les quatre saisons, notre planète si fragile et l'espace si grand qui nous entoure. Cet album ne ressemble à aucun autre, et a été le fruit d'un long travail de recherche de sons et de compositions. Son univers "spatial" vous transportera dans un monde de relaxation et le souhait de son compositeur est de vous faire voyager intérieurement en oubliant les soucis et les problèmes de nos vies.

Did you ever have a moment when you wanted to escape the reality and find yourself in another world? Everyone has that from time to time. So we put on some music to try to relax, but sometimes even then our imagination cannot flow as it should do. Zara Angel and I have created an album of biographical songs together with a fairytale song. While listening to this album you will be carried through many emotions – excitement, pleasure, sadness.

In short you will be literally be taken into another world, a world where you will be surounded by angels, peace, love and above all serenity. Magic does excist and now you will be able to discover this for yourself.

My newage music style is very varied ,each album has got its own touch. I often add to it acoustic or electric instruments , however staying in a muffled, magic and relaxing world. "Seasons",published in 2010, has been able to be unloaded on the main digital platforms since October 2010 and can be heard on a lot of radios or webradios all over the world. This album is very galactic and spatial and has got manifold influences.

"Symphonia" will be more mystic, aquatic and symphonic. I always try to be original and to find sounds which are worked on with patience they make one of the characteristics of my music. I hope you will have some time to listen to my music and of course, I am at your service to give you further information.

Biography - Mário Raposo

Born in Azores, Mario Raposo is an eclectic and a self-taught musician. His taste and influences encompass Jazz, Classic music, New age, Electronic and film score composers. For the past twenty years, Mario has been creating music on his keyboards for film scores, commercial documentaries, advertisements, TV generics and CDs for local artists. A true product of his times, Mario does not hesitate in injecting into traditional forms a more modern language. He has experimented mostly with fusion, i.e.: jazz; traditional Portuguese and new age (especially on documentaries); electronic pop, dance; and orchestrations through the use of synthesisers.

“Mario Jorge is the composer of choice with our production teams. His creative capacity is prevalent in his work on fiction, contributing to give the sought out atmosphere in the various situations lived in this film (Um Natal Distante), whether it be suspense moments, or emotional ones. In documentary, he has elaborated various themes adequate to all genres, even composing epoque pieces for historical passages, displaying much versatility and finesse.”
